​Taiwan × Japan｜Contemporary Art × New Media

​“NEW MEDIA NEW TECHNOLOGY / NEW ARTISTS” is an international contemporary art exhibition at GALLERY9.5 SEOUL HOTEL ANTEROOM SEOUL.

​For Phase 2, artists from Taiwan and Japan come together in Seoul, with Taipei-based independent curator Chia-Lin Angie Lee as Guest Curator.

​Featuring Chen Chen, 2ENTER, Kazuki Takakura, and Namae Myoji, the exhibition brings together different artistic practices across interactive installation, video, game engines, network data, VR, NFTs, algorithms, AI, and contemporary art.

​Through the intersection of different cultures, media, and technologies, the exhibition explores how digital culture is transforming the ways we perceive reality, identity, the body, and contemporary society.

“NEW MEDIA NEW TECHNOLOGY / NEW ARTISTS”는 서울 GALLERY9.5 SEOUL HOTEL ANTEROOM SEOUL에서 개최되는 국제 현대미술 전시입니다.

​Phase 2에서는 타이베이를 기반으로 활동하는 독립 큐레이터 Chia-Lin Angie Lee가 게스트 큐레이터로 참여하며, 대만과 일본의 아티스트들이 서울에서 함께합니다.

​Chen Chen, 2ENTER, Kazuki Takakura, Namae Myoji가 참여하는 이번 전시는 인터랙티브 설치, 영상, 게임 엔진, 네트워크 데이터, VR, NFT, 알고리즘, AI 등 다양한 미디어와 기술을 아우르는 동시대 예술 실천을 소개합니다.

​서로 다른 문화와 미디어, 기술이 교차하는 지점을 통해, 디지털 문화가 우리가 현실, 정체성, 신체, 그리고 동시대 사회를 인식하는 방식을 어떻게 변화시키고 있는지 탐구합니다.

​The exhibition also features egoGraphica, an AI-powered art engagement platform developed by ArtFanders Inc.

​Artist Cross-Talk & Networking

​On September 4, participating artists and Guest Curator Chia-Lin Angie Lee will gather at the gallery for a special cross-talk session.

​Artists from Taiwan and Japan will share their practices and perspectives on contemporary art, technology, and digital culture.
