🌍 Global Plastic Recycling Challenge
Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose♻️
This year, we’re taking it beyond recycling into 4 dimensions: Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, and Repurpose!
All you have to do is:
✅ Share on LinkedIn with pictures showing how much (Kgs) plastic you recycled.
✅ Show us how you reduced, reused, or repurposed plastic in creative ways.
✅ Tag me (Pragya) in your posts so we can track your amazing contributions!
📅 Challenge Dates: 18th October – 15th November (4 weeks)
Who can join: Anyone aged 8 to 18 years from anywhere in the world.
🎓 All registered participants who share their work and tag us will receive a Certificate of Participation.
🏆 UAE participants will be invited to a special event to share their stories and receive awards.
💻 Global participants will join an online event to celebrate their creativity and impact.
Because we have only one home — our Earth, and it’s up to us to keep it safe for generations to come. 🌱
✨ Why it matters:
🚫 Only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has been recycled — the rest ends up in landfills, oceans, or is burned.
🧃 Every single day, the world produces over 400 million kilograms of plastic waste.
That’s why we need to focus on all 4Rs:
♻️ Reduce: If you don’t need it, don’t buy it.
🔁 Reuse: Repair and use again instead of replacing.
🎨 Repurpose: Create something new and useful from old plastic items.
🌿 Recycle: Give waste a second life through responsible recycling.
💡 Share your creative ideas — we’ll have special awards for those who recycle the most and use the most innovative ways to reduce and repurpose plastic!
International participants will receive a soft copy of their certificate, while UAE-based participants are invited to join the closing ceremony in person on Sunday, 23rd November, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at RAG BIZ HQ Business Center, Addiyar Building, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Wasl Dubai.
