Agentic Finance, Commerce & Payments @ Stanford GSB, presented by Verda Ventures
Agentic Finance, Commerce & Payments
AI agents are moving quickly from answering questions to taking actions — shopping, transacting, managing money, and increasingly interacting with financial infrastructure on our behalf.
That shift is creating a new stack across agentic commerce, payments, stablecoins, identity, financial infrastructure, and AI-native applications.
On September 24, Fintechnize is bringing together investors, builders, and operators at Stanford GSB for an afternoon discussion on how this new stack is taking shape — and where real adoption is beginning to emerge.
We’ll explore questions including:
What happens when AI agents become economic actors?
What new payment, identity, trust, and settlement infrastructure do agents require?
Where do stablecoins and crypto rails fit into agentic commerce?
How are platforms such as Coinbase approaching AI and agentic payments?
Which agentic finance use cases are becoming real today — and which are still ahead of the market?
Presented by Verda Ventures
Verda Ventures is an investment firm focused on blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure, payments, stablecoins, and the next generation of digital finance.
Verda has been investing directly across many of the building blocks now converging with agentic finance. Its portfolio includes companies such as Yellow Card, Beam, Mural, El Dorado, and Mento Labs, spanning stablecoin infrastructure, cross-border payments, enterprise money movement, local-currency stablecoins, and emerging-market financial infrastructure.
The firm also launched the MiniPay Fund in partnership with Opera, backing products across payments, remittances, identity, and stablecoin-based financial services — giving Verda a hands-on view into how new financial rails move from infrastructure to real-world adoption.
