Digital Forensics & Cyber Crime Investigation (BCA TY)
This session is designed exclusively for Third Year BCA students, focusing on advanced and real-world applications of cybersecurity and digital investigation.
The session covers Digital Forensics, where students will learn how digital evidence is collected, preserved, and analyzed in cyber crime cases. It also includes Cyber Crime Investigation, providing insights into modern cyber threats, investigation techniques, and how cyber criminals are traced in real-life scenarios.
Students will explore Data Recovery techniques, understanding how deleted or corrupted data can be retrieved from digital devices. The module on Real-Life Hacking Concepts introduces ethical hacking principles, common vulnerabilities, and defensive strategies used in the industry.
The event includes hands-on practical sessions, allowing students to actively work with tools and real-world case simulations. The session concludes with an interactive quiz competition to reinforce learning and make the experience engaging.
This session aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices, helping BCA TY students gain practical exposure in cybersecurity and digital forensics.
