AI & Business Futures: Global Lessons, Korean Opportunities

This panel discussion will feature high-profile experts in the AI industry, moderated by SKK GSB faculty member.

Panelists

Danial Mirza, Applied AI, International at OpenAI 

With background’s in machine learning, optimization, and analytics, Danial has worked across sectors like semiconductors, heavy industry, finance and entertainment. He is currently building OpenAI Korea, after previously helping launch Palantir’s Korea office and leading technical deployments across APAC.

OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.

Young Choi, Director, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at LG AI Research

Young leads the application of AI in Financial Services at LG AI Research. He has spearheaded major initiatives including the development of LQAI, an AI-powered ETF listed on the NYSE, and a strategic partnership with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) that launched EXAONE Business Intelligence (EXAONE-BI)—an AI agent leveraging LSEG data to deliver advanced, predictive insights into global capital markets.

LG AI Research is an AI think tank by LG dedicated to developing AI technology. The institute is expanding the AI ecosystem by encouraging cross-industry collaboration across fashion, manufacturing, research, education, finance, and more.
