"Automation for the People" Build Session

​A window of time for coworking on Embassy residency projects! We'll have the opportunity to break up into different rooms to collaborate on projects, and then reconvene to share directional updates.

Quiet spaces for focused work: Library + Salon
Open spaces for discussion: Dining Room + Craft Room (+ more if needed)

​Session Goals

​Below are our session goals. Participants are encouraged to help out on any of the following, and to coordinate with the designated pointpersons.

​1. Home Servers: Get shared home servers configured, including a public server hosting a Buzz instance. (To be determined: how many private servers we have, vs how many public; which models we use for local Hermes agent). Pointperson: Spencer

2. Embassy Website: Get Embassy's website hosted on our shared home server. Pointperson: Amina, Spencer

3. ESPHome: Configure basic ESPHome arrangement for ESP devices and sensors. Pointperson: TBD (Spencer has context, but lacks requisite technical knowledge)
