Unedited: Creativity a Machine Can’t Make
London Irish Business Society × London Irish Centre presents: Unedited: Creativity a Machine Can’t Make
Tickets 🎟️ £6, including a welcome drink
In a world increasingly filled with AI-generated everything, Unedited is a night celebrating what only people can make.
Join the London Irish Business Society at the London Irish Centre for an intimate conversation about creativity, originality and staying human in an increasingly automated world.
We’ll be joined by two brilliant Irish creatives:
Laura de Barra
Cork-born, London-based author, illustrator and interiors expert, and the mind behind Gaff Goddess and Décor Galore. Laura is a champion of doing things yourself, craftsmanship and the value of the human hand.
Stephen Heffernan (Hephee)
Dublin-born designer, illustrator and art director. Stephen spent four years building his career in London before returning to Dublin, and has since built an independent creative practice spanning illustration, design and art direction. His first solo exhibition, Taste of Home, was held at the London Irish Centre.
The conversation will be hosted by Georgie Cahill (Georgie Roars), a London-based Irish spoken-word poet known for blending humour, nostalgia and raw emotion.
We’ll talk about what happens to creativity when machines can generate almost anything: what makes work feel genuinely human, how creatives protect originality, where AI fits into their work, and what we risk losing if everything becomes optimised by algorithms.
There’ll be questions from the room, followed by a live performance from Head the Ball, before we carry on with drinks at the bar.
No slides. No lectern. No script. Just a proper conversation.
