Golden State Warriors x Women Interested in VC!
Members of the leadership team from the Golden State Warriors are working with Carta and All Raise to host an event @ the Chase Center on March 9th (~ 5:30-8 pm ish) for women and non-binary students interested in VC from Stanford & Cal!
This event will be a focused, investor-first program designed for the Bay Area ecosystem. The program structure and strategic intent are set, with content grounded in data, case studies, and venture-scale outcomes. It will engage current women or non-binary folks in VC who are interested in VC but need more exposure and access to spaces/resources like this.
During the evening, you will:
• Hear career journeys from partners and investors across leading firms
• Learn how venture firms evaluate opportunities, make decisions, and build conviction
• Participate in curated small-group and 1:1 conversations with investors
• Meet peers also exploring a path into venture
Speakers include Fitzann Reid (General Counsel & CCO @ Hunterbrook Media, Co-founder & General Partner @ VeraWest Sports and Entertainment), Joanna Drake (Co-founder & Managing Partner @ Magnify Ventures), Julie Castro Abrams (Managing Partner @ How Women Invest), Nicole Baer (CMO @ Carta), Nneka Ukpai (Venture Partner @ Springboard Enterprises), Paige Hendrix Buckner (CEO @ All Raise), and Katherine Rice (Partner @ Gingerbread Capital).
Event attendance is limited to 10 Stanford students. See you there!
