Office Hours w/ Metiquity Ventures
Join us at House 831 on October 29th for a round of office hours with the team at Metiquity Ventures. Bryan Slauko and Mattye Robson are setting up on the floor for 1:1 sessions with founders. Bring the deck, the messy metrics, the question you've been sitting on, or just come find out what a pre-seed fund actually looks for before you start raising.
Metiquity is an Alberta pre-seed fund built around a gap most founders here know well: you need revenue to raise capital, and capital to make revenue. They lead rounds into pre-revenue and early-revenue tech companies across Alberta and the Prairies, and Fund I is building toward a portfolio of 20 to 30 companies.
Bryan is a Co-Founder and Founding Director at Metiquity, where he runs the day-to-day of Fund I. He's spent more than two decades across investment analysis, entrepreneurship, and board-level work, holds a CFA charter, and chairs the boards of two local nonprofits.
Mattye is an Investment Analyst at Metiquity Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in ambitious Canadian technology companies. As part of Metiquity’s growing team, she supports founder and market diligence, investment analysis, portfolio initiatives, and the firm’s continued institutional growth. Mattye is passionate about working alongside entrepreneurs and contributing to Canada’s technology ecosystem. Prior to Metiquity, Mattye worked in the Private Equity and HR industries.
Sessions are 20 minutes and booked in advance. Doors open at 1:00PM. Limited spots. Approval required. Time slots will be sent out beforehand.
