OMARCHY - Miami
Come hang out with hackers, builders, and creatives for an evening of making computers fun again.
This is a hands-on Omarchy meetup - no presentations, no panels, no polished demos. Just people around a table, computers open, trading notes, trying things, breaking things, and helping each other build setups that feel completely their own.
Already running Omarchy? Bring your machine and show us what you’ve done with it: plugins you’re building, workflows you’ve figured out, weird customizations, agent setups, remote-access tricks, or anything else you think is cool.
Curious but haven’t installed it yet? Bring a compatible computer and we’ll help you get up and running. This is a great excuse to breathe new life into an old Intel machine sitting in a closet - or bring something newer and turn it into a dedicated hacking box.
We’ll be experimenting with things like:
Using Omarchy as a truly malleable operating system
Giving coding agents access to the machine so they can modify, configure, and improve the environment themselves
Running and managing agents remotely
Connecting machines with tools like Tailscale
Building plugins and sharing useful tweaks
Comparing terminal, editor, automation, and AI workflows
Repurposing old hardware into surprisingly capable little machines
Generally figuring out new and more interesting ways to use our computers
The spirit is much closer to an old-school hack night than a traditional meetup. There’s no agenda and nobody has to be an expert. Bring something you’re working on, something you’re curious about, or just a computer you want to mess around with.
