​Join us for our drop-in style candle pouring workshop at Motherland Essentials in Summerville.

​This is a drop-in experience, which means you can arrive anytime between 5:30pm–7pm to create your candle—no need to be there right at the start. Come when it works for you, get creative, and enjoy the vibe at your own pace.

​•Bring your own heat-safe vessel from home, or choose one of ours.
•Purchase a vessel from the Public Works Art Center pottery studio and receive a $5 in-store credit the same day.
•Pricing is per candle, so you can make one or a few.

​All participants receive 15% off in-store purchases during the workshop.

​Here’s what you’ll learn:
• How to properly wick and pour your soy candle
• How to blend fragrance to create a scent you love
• Candle safety tips for burning and care
• Creative ways to reuse and upcycle vessels

​This workshop is open to ages 7 and up and is perfect for all skill levels. Just drop in, get creative, and leave with something made by you.

​​​​​​​All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only those participating in the class need to purchase a ticket. Those supervising may come free of charge. We love pups but unfortunately cannot have them in the studio unless they are service animals.
