A two hour crash course that will cover:
Some basic vocabulary and disambiguation of type related terms
A brief history of type
And finally an introduction for how to approach designing your own custom fonts. We will consider use cases that will dictate form, readability, legibility, and scale.
Students are welcome to stay an extra hour to workshop their designs.
