How do you deliver a presentation or a short pitch in an assertive, convincing, and captivating way? This interactive presentation will focus on “how to say it” instead of “what to say,” by delving into effective nonverbal communication. We will cover techniques of expression, including gestures, body movements, positions and postures, the voice, sustaining eye contact, and the use of silence, with an emphasis on consistency between verbal and nonverbal communication.

About Jeff Cabili
Jeff Cabili is a specialist in Effective Nonverbal Communication (Body Language and Voice), Storytelling, and the Art of Pitching.
He is the former Director of Business Development at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he held this role for ten years (until 2015). He has been teaching Effective Nonverbal Communication skills at Stanford Continuing Studies every quarter since 2006.
He also conducts workshops at corporations (Google, Netflix, LinkedIn, United Nations WIPO) and universities (Bocconi University, Politecnico di Milano, LIUC Italy, HEC France, Link School of Business Brazil).
He is a mentor at several incubators such as Plug and Play (Headquarters, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Modena, Vilnius, Tirana), Draper University, StartX (US), and Cubo (Brazil), where he helps entrepreneurs improve the impact of the delivery of their pitches.
He conducts his lectures and workshops in five languages and frequently uses his formal training in professional acting (Marcel Marceau Mime School).
Jeff helps startup founders polish their 4-minute pitches to increase their chances of raising money from venture capitalists. He focuses on the “How to Say It” rather than on the “What to Say.”
Jeff has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, France, and an MBA from the Wharton Graduate School (University of Pennsylvania).
