Builders Night: Beyond the hacks
Builders Night is back in Ghent — this time with Chainlink.
An open evening for founders, developers, operators, students, and curious technologists exploring where Web3 infrastructure is heading after a month that reminded everyone why it matters. We're welcoming the Chainlink team for an evening around oracles, cross-chain tech and tamperproof infrastructure — and what a production-grade stack actually looks like in 2026.
We are bringing together perspectives from across the ecosystem to move beyond theory and narratives, and focus on real-world systems, trade-offs, and lessons from recent events.
Whether you're actively shipping, evaluating a cross-chain integration, or just want to understand what changed after the LayerZero/KelpDAO and Vercel incidents, this one is for you.
What to expect

Why this topic now?
April has been a loud month for infrastructure. The LayerZero/KelpDAO exploit put cross-chain security architecture back in every builder's Slack, and the Vercel supply-chain incident reminded everyone how much of "Web3" still runs on very Web2 hosting.
Both Chainlink and ICP have answers — different answers, addressing different layers — and they compose better than most people realize.
This Builders Night is a chance to look at that shift with a concrete technical lens, in a format that stays accessible, social, and discussion-friendly. No slogans, no "join the revolution." Just what works, what broke, and what you can ship on Monday.
