​Claude Community Kenya is rolling into Kisumu with our 8th event - and this time we're not doing slides. We're shipping code.

​Claude for Developers is a one-day mini-hackathon. You'll get hands-on with Claude Code, ship a working prototype in a few hours, and walk away with the patterns we use daily on production systems.

​Why this event:

​Kenya has one of the strongest developer ecosystems in Africa, but Nairobi gets all the events. Kisumu and the west are where the next wave of African AI builders are coming from - and we're here to back that.

​This is also CCK's first event outside Nairobi and Mombasa. We've run 7 events since January 2026 - Nairobi, Mombasa, online, hybrid - and we've seen what works when devs get real tools and a few hours of focused build time.
