About Event

Notion X Culture: A Filipino Arts Build Showcase is a Build Showcase designed to help students explore how Notion can be used as a creative digital workspace for documenting and presenting Filipino arts and cultural expressions.

Instead of focusing only on traditional performance outputs, students are guided to build structured Notion dashboards that organize and showcase their creative works such as cultural performances, visual artworks, handcrafted outputs, and reflections on Filipino heritage. The session begins with a short introduction on how Notion can be used as a documentation and portfolio-building tool for creative projects.

Participants will then observe how sample Notion templates are structured, including sections for project planning, visual documentation, process journals, and cultural interpretation pages. These examples demonstrate how databases, linked pages, and templates can be adapted to organize artistic outputs in a clear and meaningful way.

During the event, each group will apply these concepts by building their own Notion workspace while preparing their performances, paintings, and handcrafted outputs. A live presentation and walkthrough will allow participants to explain how they structured their dashboards and how Notion helped them document their creative process.

By attending, students will gain:

  • Insight into using Notion as a creative documentation tool

  • Strategies for organizing cultural and artistic projects in structured dashboards

  • Experience in building a portfolio-style workspace for performance-based outputs
