BioPharma Networking Hike: Lobos Creek
Traverse the last free-flowing stream in San Francisco, a restored coastal sand dune ecosystem and climb the sand ladder for views of the Pacific Ocean and Marin Headlands while networking.
After the hike (~12:30pm), we will grab snacks/drinks on Clement St.
RSVP to access the event chat ('speech bubble icon' in lower right corner) and/or join the WhatsApp to get the networking started early, coordinate carpools and receive hike updates.
When: Sun March 15th, 2026 (10am - Noon)
Location: To be shared upon registration
Parking = Free Street parking along 14th Ave (between Wedemeyer & California). Paid lots available just past meeting point (inside Presidio) [Remember to not leave valuables visible]
FYI: Hwy 101 in SF on the weekend of the hike "Two lanes will be closed in each direction between Candlestick Park and Silver Avenue"
Public Transportation = Muni: #1, #28 (0.2mi), #38 (0.5mi)
Terrain = Moderate w/ dirt, sand & paved paths [We will aim for a 30 min/mile pace]
— 3.58 miles with 450 feet of elevation gain (route - Strava); OK to do in sneakers;
Facilities = Restrooms & Water Fountain at Baker Beach Parking Lot.
Misc = Dogs are allowed & cell reception is good.
