Nucleate Rhode Island — Fall Women's Dinner 2025
Nucleate Rhode Island is hosting a Women's Dinner at Plant City, sponsored by Lyda Hill Philanthropies, to connect women trainees with women leaders in the biotech industry. This Women’s Dinner is part of Nucleate's global initiative to support women in leadership positions. The initiative aims to bring together women trainees in leadership roles with current women leaders in the life sciences, fostering mentorship, networking, and empowerment.
We are looking for motivated trainees, students and young professionals to join us. Dinner expenses are covered by Nucleate.
About the speakers: Our two women leaders attending the dinner are Dr. Maria Grazia Ruocco and Dr. Patrice Milos.
Dr. Ruocco is the CEO and co-founder of Adelle Diagnostics. She is using her platform to develop a test that measures clinical biomarkers of brain health in order to measure success of neurodegenerative treatment, specifically shunt surgeries in patients with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus.
Dr. Milos is the co-founder of Medley genomics, and an active board member of RI Bio, and Director of ProThera biologics, a company working to control systemic inflammation in patients. She is a pivotal member of Rhode Island's biotechnology community, previously serving on several other company boards in both Providence and Boston.
