More About the Speakers
Renee Chong is the Chief Operating Officer of MangaChat, where she leads operations and strategic growth to scale emotional wellness technology across education, counselling, and healthcare in Asia. With over 16 years in Singapore’s education ecosystem, she brings deep expertise in policy design and human development. Previously, she served as Lead Manager at MOE, formulating national policies on post-secondary admissions and Full Subject-Based Banding, and led curriculum and talent development at Catholic Junior College. Her work bridging policy, pedagogy, and people development reflects her belief that emotional health and learning must go hand in hand.
Guhanavel is the founder of EasyConvo, an AI-powered speaking platform that provides curriculum-aligned conversational training for language classrooms. A recent graduate from NUS with a degree in Data Science and Analytics (2025), he founded EasyConvo based on insights from his Final Year Project. Passionate about the intersection of technology and education, Guhanavel is dedicated to scaling accessible speaking practice solutions for learners.
