About Event

Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) under Article 12 of the Paris Agreement focuses on climate education, public awareness, training, participation, access to information, and international cooperation. Yet culture remains under-recognized in its implementation.

Artists, educators, libraries, heritage institutions, and creative industries are already advancing climate literacy and public engagement. How can their role be strengthened within UNFCCC processes? In which ways can the Culture Global Stocktake advance the role of culture in ACE?

This 90-minute participatory consultation, organized by ECOS and the Entertainment + Culture Pavilion, will assess progress and gaps across the six ACE pillars and generate forward-looking recommendations to inform the June 2026 ACE Dialogues and the first draft of the Culture Global Stocktake.

Join us to help shape concrete, policy-relevant proposals that embed culture at the heart of climate empowerment.
