In a recent Anthropic test, Claude Haiku 4.5 submitted a made-up tip to the Philadelphia police about an unsolved murder. Its rules banned logging in, purchases, entering personal data and submitting anything destructive, but they didn't cover an ordinary form, so the AI went ahead and sent it. Anthropic has since paused live internet access for all its internal AI testing.
We talk more and more to AI every day, and we feed it more of our personal info each time: our chats, files, photos, money questions, and habits. So...
• Who really controls your data?
• How do we protect our own privacy and security?
• What happens if we get suddenly cut off one day, along with everything that we've built? Or charged exorbitant fees?
This Fri AI Lab is the practice. We'll explore and discuss what your AI keeps, how to set limits on what it can do, and how to keep your data local so Big Tech can't sneak into your privacy, all without breaking the bank.

✅ Run local models like Qwen, DeepSeek and Llama on a Mac Mini or Mac Studio with free apps like Ollama

This is not a class. It is a weekly meetup where builders share progress, troubleshoot in real time, and exchange raw ideas.
