From 0 → 1: Building a Community with Intention
Join us for a hands-on workshop for people who want to start or strengthen a community.
Together, we’ll explore the fundamentals: why you want to build a community, who you want to invite in, and how to design your first gathering with intention.
This session is participatory, practical, and focused on real next steps and honest conversation.
Expect a warm welcome, small-group exchanges, shared food and drinks, and on-time start and finish.
You’ll leave with clarity, concrete next steps, and new connections.
AGENDA
6:00pm: Early arrival & savory table setup
6:30pm sharp: Welcome, introductions, overview of community principles, small bites & drinks
7:00pm: Small-group work
8:00pm: Group sharing, collective insights and next steps
What to bring: to embody the spirit of building together, we’ll create a shared savory table. Please bring one simple item to share: something crunchy (bread or crackers), something savory to dip or nibble (like hummus or olives), something cheesy or protein-y, or a drink. One small item is plenty; your presence is what matters most.
