Teaching with AI is Teaching AI
This session explores the dual nature of AI in the classroom: as a powerful tool for educators and as a subject students must learn to navigate critically. The participants will have the room to reflect on creative thinking as an integral part of the teaching process that's irreplaceable by AI.
A key focus is the importance of 1:1, human-centered learning. While AI can automate many tasks, the personalized, human-to-human connection remains the most vital component of effective learning. The session focuses on how AI can free up educators to spend more time on individual interactions—rather than replacing them.
Who this is for:
Educators who want a well-rounded perspective on AI in the learning process, including:
Teachers and tutors
Methodologists / instructional leads
Academic coordinators and school administrators
Potential questions to explore:
How can educators use AI as a teaching tool while also teaching students how to engage with AI critically?
What are the most important beneficial and negative aspects of AI use in education?
Why does human-to-human learning and creativity remain essential in an AI-enabled classroom?
