A Group Field Trip to Theodore Payne Foundation’s Fall Plant Sale -- Kickstart Your Native Garden!
Come with us to Theodore Payne Foundation’s Fall Plant Sale, when the nursery is brimming with inventory! Instead of our usual first-Sunday-of-the month meeting, we will change things up for November — and go on a shopping spree! It will be Saturday (11/2) at TPF headquarters in Sunland, just 20 minutes north of Laurel Canyon).
This is a great opportunity to work on your native plant palette — with “sage” advice from both the TPF staff and fellow Laurel Canyon native gardeners. Plus, you can pick up plants that day at a 10% discount!
Noe is the ideal planting time for natives, ahead of our rainy season, and before the cultivars you want are already sold out.
Please note: This visit will be held outdoors in the TPF sales yard and demonstration gardens. We ask guests to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Water bottles and sun protection are also strongly encouraged.
RSVP soon, as tickets are limited!
Please have your registration confirmation QR code handy for us to scan.
Let’s carpool! This 12:30 pm meeting time is for convening at TPF in Sunland. If you want to carpool (recommended!), we can arrange to pick you up — just let us know your address in your email reply.
See you Saturday, the 2nd of November!
