Button Making Social in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco

​It's time to spread the joy of public transit buttons! Do you have a favorite Muni or BART route? Come make buttons together, and take some with you to use as giveaways to help with your gathering.

​We'll meet at the "lounge" with ping pong tables on JFK Promenade next to the intersection with 8th Ave and then setup to hand out buttons (and get signatures) from passersby.

​We'll also do a signature gathering training where you can get set up for both Connect Bay Area and Stronger Muni for All, and chat about tactics while we're together. So whether you're a returning gatherer or just getting started, join us to meet other transit supporters and get ready for April!

San Francisco needs to pass both the Stronger Muni for All (San Francisco parcel tax) and Connect Bay Area (five-county sales tax) transit measures in November to prevent service cuts, and you can gather signatures for both at the same time! We will have both petitions available at this event.
