Regenerative art and forest stewardship

In the framework of the upcoming San Francisco Art, Nature, and Ecology Biennale in April 2027, we are inviting you to a Climate Art Salon: Regenerative art and long-term forest stewardship hosted by Arts Humanitas, Eternal Forest and Solarpunkification.art, at historic Mabuhay Gardens.

This participatory conversation is an invitation from Evgenia Emets, artist and poet, will bring together contributors from art, ecology, regenerative practice, stewardship and social impact. It focuses on long-term forest stewardship, old-growth forests and climate resilience, and the role of art in activating a sense of intergenerational belonging and care.

Evgenia has been invited to participate in the San Francisco Art Biennale in April 2027 and create a Seed of Eternal Forest - a living work of art which starts the Eternal Forest in the US.

First forest sanctuaries are emerging in Portugal, and other countries. Evgenia hopes with this conversation to invite a collaborative and co-creative approach to creating a movement of Eternal Forests in San Francisco, Bay Area and California.

Address: Mabuhay Gardens, 443 Broadway, San Francisco, CA 94133

Ticket includes a welcome non-alcoholic drink and healthy snacks.

Doors open at 18.30

About Arts Humanitas

The Salon is co-hosted by Arts Humanitas 5019(c)(3), a San Francisco-based arts nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening our connection to humanity and nature through art immersion, dialogue, and direct experience. www.arthumanitas.org

Art is a powerful medium to evoke transformation. We use art to evoke the awe and wonder of nature, helping people reconnect with its beauty and, in turn, fostering deeper appreciation and action toward regenerating life on Earth.

The upcoming Art, Nature, Ecology Biennale San Francisco in April 16-18, 2027, builds on the mission by bringing together artists, scientists, and climate experts to explore how we can deepen our relationship with the natural world, inspire greater care and climate stewardship.

Leading up to the Biennale will be a series of Climate Art Salons. Listen to our artist interviews and past events on Substack and follow us on Instagram.

To make an additional tax-deductible donation, you can visit our Give Lively page. All donations will support Arts Humanitas’ core operations, salon series, and San Francisco Art, Nature, Ecology Biennale, planned for April 16-18, 2027.
