Street Design Standards Working Group Monthly Meeting
Our Street Design Standards Working Group meets monthly, typically on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1-3 PM!
Our group looks at ways we can improve our city street design guidelines to create safer and more livable streets. No experience necessary except a desire to learn (none of us are engineers) although conversations may sometimes get nerdy. A few topics we will be looking at include: trees, bike lane widths, signal timing, sidewalk widths, slip lanes, liability, road diets, design/target speeds, ??? (BYO).
