The billionaires behind tech such as social media, AI, & meta glasses lay their utopian fantasies bare for us—they want machines watching over us, automated systems coddling us, "loving" us ... even if that renders your job, your values, your life as you know it obsolete.
Is that what YOU want?
What if we turn the words of tech CEOs into blackout poetry—or send a scathing note to an institution of your choice (a love letter works, too, for a good one)? And what if we make a big mural together to commemorate ALL THE OTHER POSSIBILITIES that aren't delusional and ignorant of true human needs?!
There will be a few readings offered for discussion (like this or parts of this or this) plus those ongoing activities.
