SPONGE 02: Creative & Design
Purpose driven comms. What’s it all about? How do you get into it? Does anyone like me work in it? Is it flexible to my needs? Would I be any good at it? If you’re asking yourself questions like these and have no clue how to answer them, come on down to Sponge – an event series designed to help underrepresented talent get into the industry.
Soak up the wise words of seasoned pros who each have a unique story to tell and tips and tricks to share.
The second evening of our events series will focus on creative and design and will held in partnership with LIFT and Better Space. The conversation will be moderated by Revolt’s very own Will Reuben:
🙋🏼♂️ Championing equity in design and amplifying underrepresented voices are just two of the things that excite this London-based designer.
Showering the audience with honest conversation and sound advice will be:
Nicola Kemp, panellist
🙋🏼♀️ Smashing stereotypes and helping women find the power in their own unique voice — all in a day’s work for Creativebrief’s inclusivity-driven Editorial Director.
Kieran Kenlock, panellist
🙋🏾♂️ Crafting stories that make people stop, think, and feel — whether it’s a brand campaign, a film, a podcast, or a poem — is what drives this multidisciplinary storyteller.
🙋🏾♀️ Shahina Ahmed, panellist
Creating brands and communications with a playful sense of purpose is what fuels the fire of this Chennai-born, London-based multidisciplinary Design Director.
🧠 You don't need to bring anything other than your curiosity (and maybe a notebook).
🍕 Pizza and soft drinks will be provided
📸 Please note we'll be capturing photos and videos throughout the event
