About the Event
This event takes place during the DeepLearning.AI team’s visit to Tokyo and brings together global AI builders and the local startup ecosystem. Expect an evening of building, experimentation, and real conversations with founders and engineers.
This event is designed to bring together:
• AI engineers
• startup founders
• product builders
• enterprise innovation teams
• designers and researchers
Participants will form small teams and rapidly prototype AI applications or agents addressing real business challenges.
Instead of slides or pitch decks, working demos will take center stage.
The goal is simple:
Build something real.
Show what you made.
Get feedback from the community.
🌍 Why This Event Matters
AI is moving from experimentation to real-world deployment.
Tokyo has incredible engineering talent and strong enterprise industries — but there are still limited spaces where builders and companies can collaborate directly.
This Builder Night is designed to bridge that gap.
We want to create a space where:

Join as a Builder if you want to:
• Build AI applications or agents
• Prototype startup ideas

• Demo your prototype live
No pitch deck required.
Your demo is your pitch.
Builders can participate:
• solo
• with friends
• by forming teams at the event

We also welcome corporate participants including:

Enterprise guests can:
• observe live prototyping
• join demo sessions
• connect with builders
• explore collaboration opportunities

No coding experience required.
