Calling all revolutionists! Join us for an exclusive look at Project Slingshot, a bold new campaign organisation launching in London this April with one goal: to make factory farming socially indefensible, economically unviable, and ultimately illegal by 2040.

Matthew Glover, co-founder of Veganuary and Co-Founder of Project Slingshot, will walk through the campaign architecture, show the creative work, and, crucially, discuss the specific ways advocates, organisations, and skilled individuals can plug into what's coming.

This isn't another awareness campaign. Slingshot is a narrative engine designed to turn public opposition into organised pressure on the companies and politicians propping up factory farming. Rolling "drumbeat" campaigns (CO₂ gas chambers, Frankenchickens, chick killing) will hit the London Underground, digital platforms, and the streets from April onwards.

Agenda

The presentation (30–40 min)

  • Why London, why now, and why factory farming is structurally winnable in the UK

  • The "Don't Buy It" messaging framework and drumbeat campaign architecture

Q&A (20–30 min)

Ask questions, and let’s talk about practical collaboration – with grassroots groups, campaigners and lobbyists, creative and tech talent, funders and fundraisers, and anyone with a platform.

Social hour (60 min)

Connect with others working at the intersection of animal advocacy, effective altruism, and social change.
