About Event

How can we become unstoppable?

Join us for a panel and open discussion of ideas for how we can mobilize and market a climate movement, climate leadership, and integrated climate solutions.

THE PRESENTATION DECK IS NOW AVAILABLE TO PREVIEW: https://climatemovement.net/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/TOCW-presentation-Final.pdf

This event is intended to stimulate discussion on ways to build a deep and unshakeable social mandate for climate leadership and action.

BACKGROUND:
We are living through a turning point in history, with all the uncertainty of what comes next.

That we are in a decline is evident in the environmental, political, and economic upheaval that surrounds us, both the immediate events and the gradual decay. What comes next is uncertain, but we can see all around us the power struggle of competing ideologies, economic theories and raw ambition that seek to shape and control a new future.

Whereas many are saying that protecting our climate must take a back seat in the fight for democracy, the climate movement actually holds the key to a peaceful transformation of our society and economy to a just and sustainable future.  An efficient, clean energy system will inevitably be more efficient and reliable. It will give power back to individuals and communities, thus providing a strong counterforce to the concentration of power and wealth. It has the potential to be the catalyst for a better future for all. No wonder the opposition has been so strong.

That a united, unstoppable climate movement is needed is also beyond question. The real question is how we can make it happen. Join us as we explore the possibilities and ways to break through the barriers, including ideas for collaborative messaging, marketing and mobilizing through adaptive campaigns.
