Join us for the seventh session of the DLT Seminar Series, live online via Microsoft Teams.

This event welcomes anyone interested in blockchain technology, decentralised finance, and advanced cryptographic research.

Our guest speaker, Dr Kaihua Qin from the University of Warwick, will present Quantifying Blockchain Extractable Value: How dark is the forest? The session will explore how blockchain extractable value (BEV) emerges, how it can be quantified, and what it reveals about the security and fairness of decentralised systems.

About the Speaker
Dr Kaihua Qin is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on blockchain security, privacy, applied cryptography, and game theory, aiming to build secure and trustworthy decentralised infrastructures.
