Designing Great Chatbot Conversations

A special crossover event, UXNS × Volta Vibe Coding Meetups!

Chatbots are everywhere, but most of them are "not great". The difference between a chatbot people use and one they abandon isn't the AI model, it's the UX.

Join the UX NS design community and Vibe Coding Halifax for a one-night crossover workshop on designing conversational interfaces that feel natural, not frustrating. We'll see how UX principles apply when the interface is a conversation: crafting flows that guide users, designing fallback messages that don't feel broken, and prototyping chatbot experiences you will test the same night.

Format: Learn about conversation design fundamentals while going through a hands-on building exercise. No experience required. If you've used a chatbot, you're qualified. Bring a laptop; we'll handle the rest.

Hosted by Simon Landry and Chanel Larche (UXNS) and Sam Silver (Volta Vibe Coding Meetup).
