​Your film. One day. Make it uncanny.

​On the 10th of October, New Delhi becomes a film set. Uncanny Valley Fest arrives in India for a single day of making: twelve hours to conceive, craft and complete a film with AI, and one evening to see it on the big screen.

​From temple stone and court miniatures to Raja Harishchandra and Pather Panchali, every great medium was new once. This is the next chapter of Indian cinema, and it premieres the same night it is made.

​Three honours

• ​Best Short Film. A camera-free story only you could tell, in any Indian language.

• ​Best Music Video. A film number or indie single, reimagined as an unforgettable visual.

• ​Best Ad Film. A product launch or brand film, reborn.

​The jury

​Your work will be seen by leaders from Indian film and OTT, music and record labels, and the founders shaping what cinema becomes next. The full jury will be unveiled soon.

​The rewards

​Festival screenings in India and abroad. Cash awards and creative credits. Introductions to the studios, labels and funds backing the next wave. The full prize list will be announced soon.

​Where Uncanny has played

• ​San Francisco, Y Combinator, November 2025. A full house for the city's largest filmmaking hackathon.

• ​Austin, SXSW, March 2025. GenJam with PixVerse: one day to make and screen an AI film.

• ​Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, September 2026. Students carried their films from first idea to final cut in a single day.

​Seats are limited and every request is reviewed. The venue will be revealed to accepted guests.
