About Event

This panel explores how leading sports and music venues are implementing reusable cup systems to reduce waste and climate impact, examining the costs and benefits, how it works operationally, and what it takes to make reuse succeed at scale.

Panelists:

Donnie Lewis, Business Development Director, r.World reusables. Works with sports and entertainment venues across the U.S. to support the design and rollout of reusable cup and foodware systems, helping venues navigate operational logistics and scale reuse across different event types.

Ashley Gladney, Sustainability Program Manager, Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority. Leads sustainability initiatives for venues including Spectrum Center (home of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets), with experience piloting and expanding reusable cup systems in both game-day and concert settings.
