Rails & Runways
This June, CFC presents Rails & Runways: a free-for-all-ages celebration of street culture, uniting Chicago skateboarding, fashion design, and arts communities for an energetic afternoon at Burnham Skatepark. We’re dialing up this park party with fashion vending, live DJs, food trucks, free giveaways, and a graffiti wall!
What to Expect
4:00pm - Event kickoff
4:30pm - Skate competition with a $500 cash prize, hosted/judged by Zumiez
Features game of S.K.A.T.E. plus a BMX Best Trick contest (honoring Burnham’s BMX legacy, including the 2019 commemoration of local legend Hiro Tsuchida)
5:30pm - A live fashion presentation featuring six independent Chicago designers
6:00pm - Open skate for all with live DJ beats
6:50pm - Prizes awarded, giveaways presented, and closing remarks!
