We’ll walk through the steps to building a simple, repeatable meeting strategy: how to identify the right investors, how to approach them with credibility, how to start conversations early, and how to follow up in a way that actually gets meetings booked.
You’ll learn what investors are scanning for before they agree to meet, what makes founders stand out (even at a massive event like Web Summit), and how to avoid the most common pitfalls that lead to missed opportunities — like pitching too early, sending generic outreach, or failing to create momentum after first contact.
Expect practical frameworks, real examples, and templates you can use right away. You’ll leave with a clear plan to prospect, reach out, and book meaningful meetings — so Web Summit becomes a turning point, not just a networking marathon.

Josh Nilson is Métis from Willow River, BC. He is the founder of Maskwa Games which has made the metislife.ca project.
