VMO2 x WiTP Workshop: how can the government make it as easy as possible for women to enter, stay and thrive in tech?
The Women in Tech Policy Network (WiTP) is partnering with Virgin Media O2 to bring together leaders across tech policy, public affairs, and industry to share insights that will help shape the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s ongoing work to support more women to enter, thrive and stay in the tech sector.
The goal of the event is to gather feedback from our participants on how the government can better understand women's experiences in tech, what interventions actually work and what can be actioned by this government in the short and medium term to give impact.
This event will take place on Thursday 4 June from 09:00 - 11:00 at Virgin Media O2's London Office in Paddington. Refreshments will be available throughout the morning.
Purpose of the event
Share actionable insights from the tech policy and public affairs landscape to shape government thinking.

Founded in 2024 by Casey Calista and Dr. Hannah Shimko, WiTP began as an informal networking club and has rapidly grown into a vibrant community of over 500 UK-based women, fostering connection, collaboration, and leadership in the sector.
