About Event

This workshop gives students a first look into the world of venture capital. Together with Front Row Ventures, we’ll break down what VC is, how it fuels startups, and what investors look for when backing ideas. You’ll also take part in an interactive activity to validate a problem statement and see what makes a startup idea stand out.

Join us on Friday, September 19 at 7:00 PM ET on Zoom for a workshop hosted in partnership with Front Row Ventures and Project Astraeus.

This session will cover the basics of venture capital — what it is, how it works, and what makes an idea venture-backable.
