BOOK DRIVE! Reading Rhythms Lower Manhattan: November 9

You’re invited!📚🍁

In the spirit of giving season, we're hosting book drives at each of our November parties in Lower Manhattan! Along with the book you choose to read, we ask you to consider bringing any other books you can part with so someone else may have the chance to explore their stories. We'll be donating all children's and YA books to Book Fairies, and all adult books to Housing Works Bookstore.

Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you'd like and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as one-on-one breakouts and group discussions to explore the themes and connections within the books you're reading.

In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with their love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather among people who want to be in that very same room.

Book Fairies sources and redistributes books to under-resourced communities on Long Island, NYC, and internationally to provide equitable opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive.

Housing Works is a one-of-a-kind used bookstore in SoHo where you can browse, shop, attend events, and discover something unexpected on every visit. All proceeds support people living with HIV/AIDS and ensure they have access to quality housing, health care, HIV prevention and treatment, and other lifesaving services.

Kollectiv is an urban retreat center in Manhattan's East Village designed to restore your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
