Step into a medieval takeover of The Far Out Lounge this spring during SXSW week! Enjoy a full day of performance, spectacle, and mayhem with local artists, live music, sword fighting, fashion, food, and more, celebrating Austin's vibrant music and art community.
Festival Programming:
✦ Live music, drag, and performances by Juni, Shiv, SexPop, Foam, Big Wy’s Brass Band, J’cuuzi, BabiDoll, Alexander the Great and Brigitte Bandit!
✦ Full-contact sword fighting duels from Austin Blood Guard presented as a featured, cinematic spectacle
✦ LARP (Live Action Role Play) and sword fighting demonstrations with Hynafol
✦ A medieval weapons petting zoo and fighting demonstrations with The Historical Weapons Guild
✦ Interactive quests experiences like “Dude, Where’s My Minotaur?” with multiple NPC’s hosted by The Tiny Minotaur
✦ Cosplay and creative crafting tables with the Anime Alliance of Austin
✦ Medieval Garb and character interactions with Sherwood Forest Faire
✦ Medieval-inspired fashions, cosplay, and costumed performers throughout the grounds, PLUS a showstopping Renaissance Runway Show featuring Austin designers and models! Programming by @ellyabelsdesigns
