β€‹πŸ€– Robotic Agents Hackathon: Build agents that move!
Friday, March 13th | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
San Francisco, CA

A one-day, in-person developer hackathon focused on building AI agents that sense the physical world, reason with tools, and take real-world action.

Theme

Robotic Agents: Build AI agents that sense the physical world, reason with tools, and take real-world action.

This hackathon is about building agents that act in the real world. Participants will work with real robots and developer tooling to create agents that can sense, decide, and execute actions through physical machines.

This hackathon brings real robotic hardware to the table so you can go beyond simulations and ship working physical AI agents in a single day. Built for hands-on developers who want to turn code into real-world action.

Tracks

Developers can choose one of three tracks depending on how they want to build:

1️⃣ Cyberwave Track

Build directly with Cyberwave’s robotics platform and workflows.

Core theme: What does the robot do in the physical world?

Sub-tracks:

  • Manipulation – interact with objects (pick, place, press, sort)

  • Locomotion – move through space (navigate, patrol, follow, deliver)

Developers can use different approaches inside these tracks, including imitation learning, workflows, and automations, to teach robots new skills and deploy them in real environments.

2️⃣ Toolhouse Track

Build intelligent agents using Toolhouse that can reason, plan, and orchestrate tools.
Developers will focus on agent logic, decision-making, and workflow orchestration, with robot actions abstracted as callable tools.

3️⃣ Cyberwave Γ— Toolhouse Track

Build full robotic agents using a complete sense β†’ reason β†’ act loop.

  • Sense: Cyberwave robots capture real-world signals

  • Reason: Toolhouse agents decide what to do

  • Act: Cyberwave robots execute the action

Developers will be able to call pre-mapped robot skills as tools inside Toolhouse and build agents that autonomously operate in the physical world.

Rewards

We’re putting real hardware and real platform credits on the line. Winners don’t get trophies, they get robots they can keep building with.

Event FAQs

Do I need robotics experience?
No. Beginners can start with imitation learning or simple workflows. Mentors will be available all day.

Can I use AI coding tools?
Absolutely. Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Gemini; use whatever helps you ship faster.

What should I bring?
Your laptop, charger, and curiosity to build things that move.

Will there be hardware access for everyone?
Yes. Robots will be available in stations with guided setup and safety checks.
