Workshop: Writing Nonfiction - Drafting Chapter Prose
In this series, we'll write a non-fiction book together, inspired by one of Marie Anderson’s published Amazon titles, The Vault of Book Topics: A repertoire of non-fiction ideas for Self-Help Enthusiasts—looking closely at how she structures chapters, uses anecdotes, and delivers clear takeaways for readers.
For day two you’ll take the outline created on day one and develop it into full chapter prose. We’ll focus on expanding ideas clearly, strengthening explanations, and maintaining a consistent nonfiction voice that feels confident, readable, and purposeful.
You’ll use Sudowrite to help you draft, refine, and polish—tightening sections, improving flow, and shaping content so it’s useful, engaging, and ready to move toward publication.
By the end of Day Two, you’ll have:
Drafted chapters based on your outline
A clearer, more confident nonfiction voice
Practical tools for revising and polishing your manuscript
