​Filmed entirely in secret on the streets of Tehran, Critical Zone is a hallucinogenic glimpse into the suffocating reality of life under dictatorship. The film follows Amir, a drug dealer who drives through the city’s underworld with his dog, serving as a modern prophet to lost souls. 

​Navigating the city streets aimlessly, Amir follows the directions of his GPS while getting high to escape a town with no future. And yet, in his wandering he will find the seed of resistance.
