​Design leadership rarely falters in obvious moments. It shows up quietly. Trust thins a little, influence slips, and collaboration feels heavier than it should. Every design leader knows that feeling. When trust is missing, even strong teams struggle to move work forward.

​This session brings two perspectives that meet at the same challenge.

​Martyn focuses on the shift from doing the work to leading people, and how new leaders earn trust inside their teams.
Nicola focuses on building partnerships across product and engineering, and how trust shapes alignment far beyond design.
