We're bringing together artists and designers working in textile traditions with climate justice advocates, local changemakers, and innovators shaping the future of our city. Mingle, connect, grab a bite, share what you're working on, and discover the surprising overlaps between craft, culture, and climate action.
Bring your hat, sunscreen, and wear comfy shoes if you'd like to join us for a relaxing walk along the LA River after.

We suggest taking public transport, carpool, or take a rideshare to respect our Elysian Valley neighborhood. Free parking is available in the neighborhood and along Riverside Drive.
Taking public transportation? Elysian Valley/Frogtown is served by the Metro 96 Bus line and the Metro Gold Line.

Folk Lounge unites master artisans and cultural stewards to revive ornamental traditions and cultivate living heritage through embodied practice and ceremonial craft. Founded by multidisciplinary artist and design leader Shagho.
Climate Designers is a global design community hub for creative professionals from all industries, committed to supporting designers to be climate leaders everywhere they work. We empower designers to learn, connect, and act on climate solutions to actively co-create a just and regenerative world. The LA Chapter is co-hosted by creative director & facilitator Rachel Cellinese and multimedia artist & filmmaker Margaret To.
About Climate Designers Global Chapter Month
Chapters Month is a quarterly event that takes place around the world. Along with Climate Designers LA, there are other Climate Designers chapters bringing their design communities together.
You all are participating in a global event series happening this week alongside fellow designers from around the world to learn, share, and connect with one another.
Our climate emergency affects every city, town, and region differently. This is why we need to learn about the climate organizations and policies in our area so that we know what’s going on and how we can help. This is key to ensuring creatives can step up and use their talents in supporting these efforts.
