PLA Recycling Workshop

​In this workshop, participants will be introduced to a PLA recycling method developed at the MakerSpace. The session will cover the process of collecting and treating plastic waste generated from 3D printers and transforming it into flat plastic sheets suitable for reuse. Participants will also receive a demonstration of how these recycled sheets can be laser cut for further fabrication.

​Participants will have the opportunity to see how this process fits into a broader effort to make the MakerSpace more sustainable, and how recycled PLA sheets can be integrated into future making and prototyping workflows. All tools and materials used in the demonstration will be provided.
