Warrior Field Trip: Sporesight
KARLA MORALES-LEE INVITES YOU TO JOIN THE NEXT WARRIOR FIELD TRIP, AN INSPIRING DAY EXPLORING "SPORESIGHT", A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR BUSINESS, INSPIRED BY NATURE'S INTELLIGENCE.
This Warrior Field Trip will be guided by Jess Jorgenson, founder of Sporesight. Sporesight's Rot + Regeneration framework sits at the heart of Jess's pioneering work, sharing new ways to imagine and design regenerative futures. She helps companies and consultancies to shape regenerative futures, by thinking more like nature and fungi.
Meet the founder, Jess
For two decades Jess has worked in strategic insights, at agencies and client side, helping organisations to consciously consider people, cultures and our futures. But her commitment to nature (and Funga) were calling for more.
"Our world is facing pivotal uncertainties yet we’re plagued by ‘business as usual’. So I set off on a world mushroom research tour to understand how fungi are impacting our futures. I’ve learned how nature-centricity can empower us to design regenerative futures together, in service of people, business and our Earthly home."

The Field Trip experience
Core focus of the day:
Is it time to look at all things ‘death’ and ‘decay’ from a new perspective? What if we could help brands, communities, and individuals reframe death, rot, and decay as potent regenerative agents? We’ll do some intentional rotting for a thriving afterlife: of a mindset, system, habit, organisation, program, object, brand or strategy (whatever is relevant to you).

Who should attend
Based on who attended the first field trip, we expect a mixed group across industries as leaders (intrapreneurs) in corporate brand strategy, foresight, sustainability & innovation.
The event is most likely to appeal to to leaders who resonate with one of all of the following:
Career inflection moment: you're finding yourself at a mid-late career inflection moment seeking greater impact - for your life, society and the planet. You are seeking inspiration for a future career direction.
Disillusioned change-maker: The Corporate environment has somewhat dimmed your change-maker fire leading to a sense of disillusionment. You are seeking inspiration and connection to people working at the edges of what's next for business and society.
Regeneratively curious: you are hearing the word "regeneration" more and more in relation to the future of business. You are seeking a learning community on the topic and a community of other leaders who wish to shift organisations towards more regenerative practices.
Accessibility
Accessibility will be quite limited. Getting into main venue is relatively easy, but outside the ground is wet and isn't wheelchair friendly. The forest walk will be inaccessible to non-walkers. There are also no suitable toilet facilities.
Refund policy
We know changes can happen last minute and we try to be as understanding as possible. We will issue a full refund up to 7 days before the event.
Nearest stations: Crowborough 12 min drive, Buxted 15 min drive or East Grinstead 24 min drive
A coach will pick up those coming by train and take people back.
Come in walking shoes that you don't mind getting wet, a waterproof jacket and with a pen and open mind. Please note this trip does not include the use of psychedelics.
