About Event

This event, designed to complement the exhibition featured at the Rights & Nature Hub, will premiere a powerful new documentary on the Ayoreo peoples inhabiting the Chaco, exploring the trauma of contact and the path to community healing. We will also feature a groundbreaking health system for isolated peoples in Peru and highlight "The Corridors" (the Amazon Borderlands Territorial Corridors), a massive Indigenous-led initiative to protect 25 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest in Peru and Brazil to safeguard the PIACI.

This event brings together a collective of organizations, If Not Us Then Who?, Quipa Collective, Iniciativa Amotocodie, Rainforest Foundation International, and Earth Sight, on issues of Indigenous Peoples in Isolation and Initial Contact (PIACI). Meet and connect with the artists, indigenous peoples, and activists leading this campaign.
